Tuesday, September 26th and Wednesday, September 27th

PERIOD 0, Tuesday

You will work with your partner to create a slide that teaches one of the literary elements. The two of you  will pick ONE element on the slideshow to create a slide for. 

 On your slide, you must have the following:

First and last names (small font)
Name of literary element or device (I already typed it, just don't erase it)
The definition of the term in words that a SEVENTH-GRADER can easily comprehend.
EXAMPLES of the device or literary element. Writing your own is BEST
Pictures to support or illustrate your term. Be creative. 
 Do NOT type on other people's slides!

We can start "Three Skeleton Key" if we finish in time!

PERIOD 0 Wednesday
We will discuss foreshadowing and suspense and watch two video clips as examples.   Read a great story called "Three Skeleton Key". We will be focusing on how the writer creates suspense.

The definition of the term in words that a SEVENTH-GRADER can easily comprehend.

Make sure that everyone in your rotation chooses a DIFFERENT element so that nobody is typing on the SAME slide. Do NOT type on other people's slides!
