STATION ROTATIONS

Station #1Study Sync

I will teach you how to login and get you started with your first assignment.  Today we will do a blast and maybe a short assessment on connotation and denotation.

Click here to login. I will give you your user name and password.

Station #2  No Red Ink

Continue working on what you need to.  If you didn't master capitalization or formatting and capitalization of titles, do some practice. When you are ready, you are welcome to take the Growth Assessment to see if you have achieved mastery yet. I have added a diagnostic test on Fanboys and using commas to join independent clauses.

Station #3  Literary Elements

First, you will watch a video and answer the questions as you watch it in EDPUZZLE.  You will need earbuds (you can use your own).  GO to Google Classroom and Click on the link to the video.  You may need to signin with Google.  Click DONE in GC when you have finished watching the video and answering the questions.

You will work with your group to create a slide that teaches one of the literary elements. You and ONE partner in your rotation, will pick ONE element on the slideshow to create a slide for.

On your slide, you must have the following:

First and last names (small font)
Name of literary element or device (I already typed it, just don't erase it)
The definition of the term in words that a SEVENTH-GRADER can easily comprehend.
EXAMPLES of the device or literary element. Writing your own is BEST
Pictures to support or illustrate your term. Be creative.

Make sure that everyone in your rotation chooses a DIFFERENT element so that nobody is typing on the SAME slide. Do NOT type on other people's slides!
